We have been lying low for spring break this week. Did a little shopping, some fashion shows, dance parties, visited the library, took the max to the children’s Museum, replanted most of the strawberries (even though it has been so rainy), and tomorrow a much anticipated birthday party. Scarlet has been MISSING school though–she can’t wait for monday!
How can a Laundry basket be this fun and why do I bother buying toys?!
Scarlet had a great time finding pictures for these collage fashion hanger girls!
To make them yourself you will need:
-Fashion magazines (faces that fill the whole page are perfect!)
-glue
-scissors
-cardboard (Papa saved us the perfect cardboard pieces for this project!)
Cut, glue and don’t forget to make a little hook at the top so you have a way to hang it. Use a kid sized hanger to help get the shoulders the right width.
Scarlet loves dressing them up. I am thinking we may have to make a cut out wood version if they continue to be loved. A lightweight wood, some mod podge…I could totally make it happen.
Soon I will be attempting to make a quilt! It couldn’t possibly replace the one that Charlyn made for Andrew and I when we got married, which we LOVE, but it will be nice to have another one in the house!
