Yesterday Scarlet dropped a 15 lb weight on her big toe when we were at

Grandma’s house. It didn’t occur to me that she could pick it up! She only

weights 28 lbs herself! But I didn’t get to her in time and she dropped it

on her big toe. When she calmed down we decided to take her to immediate

care just in case. The lady who x-rayed her foot was not good with kids and

I wanted to punch her when she suggested I spank Scarlet for not staying still.

Scarlet was so scared about what was going to happen that she was

hysterical. When it was finally over the Dr. said he’d have an expert look

at her x-rays just in case but she would most likely be fine–He could

splint it but she would just rip it off. We just have to keep her barefoot for

a few days and try to keep her from irritating it as much as we can. She was

trying to walk on her tippy toes within hours the little stinker.

Scarlet loves to put on her hula skirt and dance with the intro song

of Lilo and Stitch. Then when it’s over she says Re-Wine, Mommia–Re-Wine!

And we do it again:)

And Scarlet gets to watch from the comfort of her stroller.

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to post anything!  Here are some pics from

We had so much fun when they visited a few weeks ago.

They totally spoiled us as usual.  Right after they left

Scarlet started singing her ABC’s all the way through–the

really funny part is that when she sings “T-U-V” she says it

in a funny voice “like Nana”  she says.

Uncle Jake sent us his old camera–which is AWESOME–

Thanks SO MUCH, Jake!  It is taking me a little practice to

figure it out but it is SO much better than my old one!

He also fixed my blog so It is MUCH easier to upload

pics!  YOU ROCK Uncle Jake!

Here is a new-ish pic of Scarlet:

She is up to all sorts of things these days–right now she is squirming
because she wants to type too. She’s sitting up, eating everything I
will let her and saying “mama”, but only when she’s desperate. She
has two teeth and her hair is getting pretty long. Andrew and I are
having a lot of fun with her.
